Just mentally prepare tonight that it's going to hurt. Have a plan for when it hurts. When it hurts, follow that plan. For me, I tell myself, I have x more minutes not being comfortable (or feeling like I'm gonna die) anyone can be uncomfortable for x minutes. Then I try to convince myself I should be happy I can be this uncomfortable and am blessed to be able to run.
